Here is a video resource (speaking to Americans) on simple or house-churches that may be of help to start the ball rolling on the paraigm shift of "house-church".

http://www.youtube.com/v/hvJR_SIiPl4

It seems to me to be very similar to something like (many aspects of) the open brethren movement; especially their missionary arm in its first stages before it gets to build halls, while the "assembly" is still meeting in houses; though in many present day embodiments of it it is probably more to do with sharing life than an event called "church" - as though that were something to "go to".

i still haven't worked out how to upload pictures!
It's the end of 15 days here in Europe. More than half way. Finding it hard to log on & get any comments up-loaded. Just about to hit the sack having been with Katrina's brother, his wife, & their grown children - a great time. Great hospitality! Apparently, there was some misunderstanding in the back & forth of e-mails & they were disappointed that we couldn't come for a couple of weeks longer (& join them for some of their holidays). A pity.. but God has worked fantastic things anyway! Please God, somehow make their blessing of us turn back on them, bless every true peace-loving part of them with your fullness & blessing. It is wonderfull to see how much something a dog can add to a family. Cina has done that here!
following is an extract from an e-mail i just managed to send:

Hee hee! you have me in fits of laughter with the hostess' quotes!
Oh, its just so good and .. heartwarming to be able to be told cool travelling stories from people who have their relationship with their creator at the centre of their experience! (and even better when they're your own family!) Keep up your musings, Dad, and be open to everything God is telling you!
And the same for you, Mum, Annabelle and Sam! Experiences are always SO much better when you're sharing them with your Maker!

I've come down with a cold - hopefully it gets better soon!
We've got a new kitchen at the centre! its exciting, but still needs to be set up. Bothwell and Shungu are getting married in a week! and then moving into a caravan that we've just acquired here!

I recently wrote 2 media releases for the local paper, about the recent camps we've had here. It's exciting - i can't wait to see them in print!

Viele glückliche Wünsche für Ihre Feiertage!

Aufviedersehn, Tchuss!
Von deiner tochter und schwester,
Hanni xxxxoooo

well, later this morning we jump onto a train & we're off! Wow, I feel like I've had some really important lessons recently. Oh, i so quickly forget them. They are 1. in the same way that a mated couple gain strength & joy from "wasting" time with each other, & being naked & open & vulnerable & intimate with each other; especially giving themselves to each other, so it is (though at the same time closer & more distant) with us & our maker, the lover of our soul.
